Happy New Year, all!

GOD said that my word for 2023 is accountability. HE has blessed all of HIS children with gifts, talents, insight, wisdom, perspectives, and many other attributes that you, too, are aware of when you ponder and self-reflect.

One of the greatest commodities that we have is time. GOD has graced us all with 24 hours in a day. HE has also given us the most powerful possession of mankind and that is the power of choice. Our ability to choose is so powerful that we have the option to deny HIM, disown HIM, disobey HIM, and disbelieve HIM.

That’s the beauty of intimacy with HIM. Those who obtain it, exercises their choice to pursue HIM. I’ve often said to my children that the one statement that I desire for them to always remember from me is that “choices have consequences”. Every choice is balanced with a consequence.

Therefore, I choose to accept HIS charge of accountability. I love to write (especially about HIM), and I have been wanting to start a blog for years.

I kept waiting on the perfect timing while all that HE required of me, was to start.

Start blogging without a website. Start blogging without a following. Start blogging regardless of resources. Start it because writing is free. Start it because, HE’s an excellent conversationalist. Accountability requires for me to “go” (start) because freely have I received of HIM and freely shall I give and share to others (Matthew 10:7-8).

So welcome to my first blog post of Bless the LORD Ministries! I love the name because my favorite scripture is Psalm 103.

How about you?

Has HE been speaking to you about certain decisions? What are you doing with the 24hrs that HE has granted you? How accountable have you been with the blessing of inhalation and exhalation to carry you throughout your day? Has your breathing been productive?

Has HE ordained your path for this year? What is your Word from HIM? Is it “accountability”, “yes”, “restraint”, “temperance”, or maybe “pursue”? HE has a word for you and is willing to provide it to you. Ask, seek, knock…..find…. and cherish, what you find. HE graciously awaits your inquiry.

FATHER,

Thank YOU for allowing me to enter 2023. There are so many reminders of the fragility of life. People are dying daily. The young and the old. Yet today, my hours remain. I’m eternally grateful for purpose in my heart, passion in my hands, and for every prompting of accountability. I pray for every individual who took the time to read this blog and reflected on their personal relationship with YOU. Please grant them the favor of YOUR awareness and the inimitable blessing of YOUR nearness. In JESUS Name, I pray, Amen.
