Start from All

Many rituals occur in January.  Treadmills are dusted off.  Gym memberships are increased. We start the year off with scheduled fasts and renewed visions. Let’s face it: every one of us has ambitions and desires that require realignment.

However, in our pursuit of better and in our quest for purpose, remember where you are starting from.

Whatever your endeavor may be, you should start from the stance of All.

Blessed be the GOD and FATHER of our LORD JESUS CHRIST, WHO hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in CHRIST. (Ephesians 1:3 KJV)

If CHRIST dwells in you and you are communing with HIM, you have access to All spiritual blessings.

CHRIST dwelling in you happens when you believe in HIS existence (Ephesians 1:13) and receive HIS gift of salvation. (Ephesians 2:8)

This should be good news to you because spiritual blessings are actually earthly advantages.

Things on earth are temporal, but spiritual blessings are not limited to the laws of earthly boundaries. We are living in a dispensation of time where divine assistance is crucial in how we think and perceive things.

Artificial intelligence and the advancement of technology can manipulate reality and invoke emotional responses or reactions from human beings.

There used to be an advertisement campaign slogan in the 70’s that asked, “Is it live or is it Memorex?”.  The premise of the query was that the technology of the audio-related Memorex product was so effective that it would be hard to decipher whether it was a real person’s voice or a recording.

In today’s society, we have witnessed technology progress from the quality of sound from cassette tapes to where artificial intelligence can alter photos and destroy your reputation. It can manipulate your voice and fool your relatives.

You can search the word AI ” on any news website and see the headlines about how the mismanagement of AI has affected individuals.

Access to Spiritual Blessings

This is why having access to spiritual blessings is an advantage and a necessity.

For example, one spiritual blessing that we have access to is spiritual discernment.

Dictionary.com defines discernment as the ability to judge well.

However, spiritual discernment is the ability to see beyond what our earthly or humane senses (sight, hearing, taste, touch, and smell) show us. It is the ability to see the spirit behind actions. It shines like a flashlight on motives and hidden agendas.

Charles H. Spurgeon defined it this way: “Discernment is not the ability to know right from wrong; it is the ability to know right from almost right.”

In other words, almost right is still wrong. It is still not the truth.

JESUS says that HE is the WAY, the TRUTH, and the LIFE.

So, as the times speed up and technology flourishes, lies and untruths can also exalt themselves against the knowledge of GOD.

Therefore, in order to protect your thinking based on things you see or hear, you have to use the right weapons.

⁴For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through GOD to the pulling down of strong holds; ⁵ Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of GOD, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of CHRIST. (II Corinthians 10: 4-5)

The weapons that you need to be adequately equipped in life are spiritual, and you have access to All of them.

Your January may be ending, but every day that GOD allows your eyes to open again, you have the opportunity to start from All.

Thank YOU for providing us access to All spiritual blessings through the SPIRIT of CHRIST. Regardless of how smart artificial intelligence is or may become, it will never exceed your Omnipotence, Omniscience, or Omnipresence. Help us to discern the times that we are living in. Our souls depend on the spiritual nourishment that we obtain when we are in CHRIST. HE is our Living Bread. Bless the LORD, oh our souls and All that is within us. Bless YOUR Holy Name.
