Sometimes sustainment during weary times may appear distant.
It would be sharing a false narrative to imply that our souls only encounter bliss.
The theologian Charles Spurgeon alluded to it this way, even the brightest sun can every now and then be eclipsed and experience darkness.
Yes, sometimes our souls are weary. Weariness means to be tired or mentally exhausted.
If weariness is not expected in our lives, why would JESUS tell us to come unto HIM when we are weary?
“Come unto ME, all ye that’s labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
Perpetual happiness is a false narrative. We need to acknowledge and embrace the nature of our souls because the state of them can drive our decisions.
Unfortunately, world headlines are not deficit in sharing heartbreaking stories of weary souls. Whether it was a well-known vibrant dancer or a Hollywood comedian, weariness drove them to decisions that cost them their lives.
My siblings and I have experienced our own headlines. We were orphaned as kids because our father’s soul was wearied.
We all have a body, a soul, and a spirit. Each plays an important role in who we were, who we are, and who we will be.
Our bodies house our senses and provide us with receptors for external factors such as what we see, hear, touch, smell, and taste.
Our spirit houses our connection to the DIVINE and our innate ability to navigate the heavenly places that we have been invited to visit. (Ephesians 2:6)
Our souls are the mediator between our bodies and our spirit. It is our main communication hub. This is where our minds, emotions, and will reside.
Our souls become weary because of our thoughts, our feelings, and our choices.
GOD reminds us to consult with HIM during our weary days, as HE is well-informed about where our soul needs to rest. HE is Supreme when it comes to hosting your soul.
When your soul needs resting, come to HIM. HE is always on standby for any of your needs. Psalm 46:1 says that HE is our refuge and strength. HE is a very present HELP in our time of trouble.
If your soul is weary today, one Word is all you need…….HELP.

Hi Friends,
Today’s post was inspired by the lyrics to lift every voice and sing. I pray that this is timely for someone. Please be encouraged; you were on GOD’s mind today. Blessings to all of you.
I am also excited to share that I will be hosting my first Intimacy with GOD Conference. The conference will be for men and women, as we all should desire to pursue a closer relationship with GOD. It will be an intimate catered workshop where I will expound on practical applications to developing an intimate relationship with GOD. I am working on an Events Tab on this website, which will provide more details. We hope that you will join us there.
Also, stay tuned for our stage play entitled HE Walks with Me and HE Talks with Me. GOD has allowed us to minister and teach through performing arts. It is a play about hearkening to the Voice of GOD. We hope you will consider coming out and supporting us. We would love to bring the play to your city.
Lastly, the remaining book of Job Chapter-by-Chapter video summary shorts will be uploaded here soon, along with our Bless the LORD Ministries YouTube Page (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCyFZIFoqPD7greSEcoIMTew).
