Getting to Know HIM

Every relationship requires spending quality time with the one who you are pursuing.

What are their likes and dislikes? What kind of relationship do they have with their relatives? What is their occupation? Do they have any children, and so forth?

You can apply those same rules when you are developing a relationship with GOD.

The uniqueness about this relationship is that HE knows everything about you (Psalm 139:2).  You, on the other hand, are trying to learn everything about HIM.

In HIS love letter that HE had written for you (the BIBLE), HE explains that it is impossible to know HIM fully in your life here on earth (1 Corinthians 13:9-10).

Yet, there will come a time when we’ll know HIM completely (1 Corinthians 13:12).

In the meantime, pursuing and getting to know HIM now, is well worth the journey and the discovery.

The beauty of this relationship and intimacy with HIM is the more you learn about HIM, the more you learn about yourself.

The goal of these blogs is not to develop a pretense that developing a relationship with GOD is free of heartache, pain, or trouble.

You will still experience the challenges of humanity. However, hardships that are experienced with HIM cannot be compared to the hardships in life without HIM.

Everyone, including you deserves a relationship with GOD.

Everyone, including you, has the opportunity to get to know HIM better.

You have been equipped with the capacity to accept WHO HE is and what HE’S done for you (Romans 12:3).

In HIS outstretched hand, that is directed towards you….. is an invitation for relationship building.

Is your hand open and willing to accept it?
