Embracing a Masterpiece

We are approaching the time frame where Christmas decorations are heading back to the attic and vision boards are being revisited or dusted off.

The luming knowledge that January is on the horizon seems to identify the all too familiar life cycle that priorities have somehow fallen off the wagon again.

Perhaps in the effort of making great plans and pursuing healthy disciplines, we should carry a few reminders with us today and into our 2024 (GOD willing that we see it).

Reminder 1: You are HIS Masterpiece

For we are GOD’s masterpiece. HE has created us anew in CHRIST JESUS, so we can do the good things HE planned for us long ago. (Ephesians 2:10 NLT)

You are GOD’s masterpiece. You are the MASTER’s piece. You belong to HIM and HE alone is the SOURCE to your self-discipline, self-discovery and your optimal self-design. Only a CREATOR can reveal, unveil or explain the message or purpose of the original intent of the creation.

Therefore, perhaps the treadmill is not the solution to the new “you”…………….spending time with HIM is.

Reminder 2: You are a Recipient of the Gift of Breath

It’s the best Gift you have ever received. No matter what items you may have unwrapped this holiday season, it was only possible because you had also received the Gift of Breath. Every individual walking on the earth today has royalty flowing through their body, the divine breath of life from GOD.

However, it is often the most abused and underused Gift in existence today.

We utilize this Gift to profane the very GOD WHO granted us life. We take for granted the divine air in our lungs and we smother it with toxins.  Cannabis-laden atmospheres are more prevalent than ever.

We limit the capacity of this divine Gift by speaking idle words or exercising it for gossip, ridicule, judgement and complaints. When the same Breath that flows from inhalation to exhalation, possesses kingdom dominion due to the KING’s decree.

And GOD said, Let US make man in OUR image, after OUR likeness: and let them have dominion…. Genesis 1:26

Are you grateful for the Gift of Breath that you have received this day? It’s the same Gift that you had in your mother’s womb even before your first wail on the day you were birthed.

Is this Gift’s expansive power still lying dormant within you? Your Gift of Breath is also your Gift of divine access to realms of possibilities that only GOD could have planned for your life. How will you use this Gift in 2024?

Reminder 3: GOD loves You with an Everlasting Love

I have loved you with an everlasting love; therefore I have continued MY faithfulness to you. (Jeremiah 31:3)

GOD’s love toward you is everlasting. The year of 2023 may be running out of days, but HIS love never runs out. In a year where mental health and depression seems to be on the forefront of many conversations and most minds, it is good to bring to your remembrance that you are loved. You are loved so greatly that GOD valued your worth at the price of the Blood of JESUS. If you feel that you are not seen or heard, remember how unique and precious you are to GOD.

Therefore, every remaining day of your life, embrace the Masterpiece that you are, appreciate the Breath of Life you possess and never devalue who GOD loves. This includes you.

Bless the LORD Affirmation

Thank YOU, FATHER, for reminding us of WHO we belong to. Regardless of life circumstances, these reminders equip us to be victorious. Thank YOU for the Gift of dominion and the divine authority that resides in YOUR breath, that was imparted to us. May we forever use it to bless YOUR Name. For without breath in our lungs, even our vocal cords could not produce a sound.  Thank YOU for the Gift, thank YOU for the sound, and thank YOU for everlasting love.
